Payment Schedule Policy

How your trip payments are split into installments, when each one is due, and what happens if a payment is late.

1. General Principles

The price of each Wantotrip trip is payable in up to 3 installments, following a schedule defined at the time of registration. The schedule depends on how far your registration date is from the trip departure date.

  • A registration is definitively confirmed upon receipt of Installment 1 (the deposit).
  • Due dates are firm and non-negotiable. Late payments trigger an automatic reminder procedure, followed by exclusion from the trip if not settled within the allowed time.
  • Payments are accepted by bank transfer, credit card, or any other method validated by Wantotrip.
  • The deposit (Installment 1) is refundable in case of cancellation by the traveler under the conditions set out in our Refund Policy.

2. Early Registration (more than 90 days before departure)

1 — Deposit

20% of the total price, due immediately at registration.

2 — Intermediate

40% of the total price, due 60 days before departure.

3 — Balance

40% of the total price, due 30 days before departure.

3. Late Registration (90 days or less before departure)

a) Registration between 90 and 60 days before departure

  • Installment 1 (Deposit): 20% immediately at registration
  • Installment 2: 40% due 45 days before departure
  • Installment 3 (Balance): 40% due 20 days before departure

b) Registration between 60 and 30 days before departure

The reduced time frame no longer allows 3 installments. Payment is condensed into 2 installments:

  • Installment 1 (Deposit): 40% immediately at registration
  • Installment 2 (Balance): 60% due 20 days before departure

c) Registration 30 days or less before departure

Full payment is required immediately at registration. No spot is reserved without complete payment.

To keep due dates simple, installment due dates are aligned to fall between the 5th and the 10th of the month. Your exact schedule is shown at checkout before you confirm your booking, and in your bookings page afterwards. You may always choose to pay the full amount upfront instead.

4. Reminder Procedure

In case of non-payment at a due date, Wantotrip applies the following procedure:

1 day after the due date

Automatic reminder (email + WhatsApp) — payment expected within 48h.

3 days after the due date

Firm reminder (phone call) — last warning before exclusion.

5 days after the due date

Exclusion from the trip (email + WhatsApp) — spot released, deposit not refunded.
